This year we are focussing on the theme of ‘Empathise & Empower’ in our events and activities, looking at how we can support care experienced young people into opportunities that will make a difference to their lives.

Half Term Picnic – Torquay
Care experienced, care leaver or in care? Half term picnic in Torquay’s Tore Abbey Park, all ages welcome.
Come join us for care leavers week and half term. Bring some snacks or come eat ours! Rounders and/or tug-of war are possibly, failing that huddling under a gazebo in the rain! Bring a friend if you want to and/or parent/carer if under 11. Click for more information

EHyou: Supporting Care Leaver Students In HE
This one-hour virtual session will identify the support available to students who have experience of Local Authority care in order to help them access, succeed and progress into and from Higher Education.
Edge Hill University’s Widening Access team will also be on hand to answer any questions from attendees and will aim to provide information to anyone who may be considering HE as an option for themselves, or someone who they may be supporting.
